Deckmasters’ 5,000+ square foot Showroom and 2,600 square foot deck retail area, and 6,000 square foot Deck Lumberyard is full of the newest decking, deck ideas and backyard products. Our experienced staff can assist you in designing your dream deck or help you find the right materials to build it yourself.
Deckmasters is a locally owned company and has been in business for over 20 years. It all started with Todd Funfar helping his brother-in-law build a deck. Todd looked in the Fargo-Moorhead phonebook for deck installation companies and noticed there wasn’t any. In 1989, he decided to start his own deck-building company out of his home in Fargo.
Expanding the business was the next step. Wanting to get into more of a backyard retail store, a building was built in the fall of 2002 & ready for business 2003. The decking business grew so fast that another warehouse building was added the following year. With deck sales still growing the deck retail area was added. This is where the customer can purchase decking, fasteners, railings, post caps, lighting, and maintenance products.
Every year new items are introduced & displayed so our customers get the most innovative products.
During the winter down time, the showroom takes on a renovation. New products added while others are eliminated, according to trends.
DECKMASTERS is a deck lumberyard committed to bringing the tri-state area the newest industry trends. We buy direct & pay a lower price to pass this cost savings to our customers. Deckmasters is a member of several industry associations and attends national trade shows yearly to keep current on trends in decking and backyard living.
